Coffee Website!

As all of you know, I LOVE coffee! So my friend Gabe Forsyth and I have started a coffee website called tastethenations.com and want you to visit and tell us what you think! It's just getting started so we will be expanding very soon. We just wanted to launch it off and get some traffic going. Anyway thanks a lot!

I'm moving to Florida!!! I'm leaving on April 15th, after being in TX for almost four years- it's kind of surreal. After being at TM for 2 and a half years and staying in Tyler with Harvest Church and working at Starbucks, it feels like the roots go down deep, and uprooting never feels good. I guess all I can say is I'm neither a citizen of Texas nor Florida, rather as it says in Philippians 3:20, I'm a citizen of heaven.... so at best I'm just passing through. Oh yeah, today's my birthday. I'm 23- getting old and still single... good times! Anyway, that's about it right now.

I am still alive... yes it's true. But I can't seem to get into the Xanga life much anymore. Life just moves to fast to keep up with regularly... and I am the type of person that is all or nothing; either I do things a lot or don't do them at all. I miss lots of people- you know who you are. Things are good in TX- still very involved in my church at Harvest Church International, and it's going really well; I am also still working a lot at Starbucks.... gotta have my coffee.

Until next time (which will probably be many months from today),

Sorry it's been so long since I have posted... Here's a quick update.

I am almost finished with school until the fall... all those in college right now understand my excitement.

I just got a promotion at Starbucks... I will be a shift supervisor, which means more responsibility, more hours, and more money. I am excited to see what the future holds for me with Starbucks... it's a great company to work for.

I get to see the love of my life in 22 days... Four months is too long to not see this beautiful person- http://www.xanga.com/monicabook

All in all, life is good. We are experiencing growth in many ways at Harvest Church International... It makes being in Tyler, TX worth it!

There you have it folks, if any folks still read this thing.

I'll leave you with a verse... Jesus says in John 17:3 "Now this is eternal life: that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent."

Why? Because Jesus is better than anyone who has walked the face of this earth; nobody can hold a candle to him. Period.

“I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing."
-Jesus Christ

I think that there are so many of  us running around that need to understand that bearing fruit comes only from abiding in Him. First we abide, then we bear fruit... NOT the other way around; apart from Him, we can do nothing. I like it that way.
